There are some fantastic opportunities for our regional community to become involved in a variety of community arts projects over the next couple of years and we would love you all to be a part of it.

The Milang Old School House Community Centre is hosting a Community Get Together on Monday 19th November from 6 pm to discover:

  • If there is community support to run the Alexandrina Farmgate Festival again in 2014
  • Who would like to participate in, partner with or sponsor the Farmgate Festival. (Artists, Farmers, Residents, Businesses, Volunteers, Schools, Community Organisations, young people………… everyone is welcome)
  • Who would like to be involved in Community Music Making as part of the Change and Adaptation Project with artist Robert Petchell. Maybe it is now time to get Murray the Musical off the ground or perhaps you have other musical ideas……… We promise that no idea is too wacky or out there to be considered.
  • Who would like to be a part of the One River Community Arts project being planned by Gaynor Hartvigsen, John Bradford and Liz Yelland. This creative team are putting forward an expression of interest for this Centenary of Canberra program.
  • What you love about this region and how can we use the Arts and our ingenuity and innovation to support community development, economic growth and a better understanding of our unique environment and culture.

We’ll kick off the evening with Farmgate at 6 pm and then move onto the Change and Adaptation project around 7 pm. Light refreshment will be served.

Please let us know if you will be coming along by emailing reception@moshcc.com.au or phoning 85370687.
