Community Care Transport

Community Care Transport

Community Care now have a new transport service on Monday mornings and Friday mornings. It will link in with doctor’s appointments, fasting bloods and shopping.

The bus will depart from Milang at 9:00am and pick you up on the way through to Strathalbyn.

Dr. Wilhelm consults at the Dawson Street Clinic and prioritises Milang/Clayton patients on Friday from 9:30am-12:00 noon and 1:30pm-5:00pm.  Dr. Lin also consults on Monday’s and Friday’s.

Currently, we can support the morning appointments within our bus schedule.

You can make appointments at the Dawson Street Clinic, West Terrace Clinic or the High Street Clinic. Our drivers will make a stop off to all 3 GP clinics before 9:30 and will park the bus at the Strathalbyn Memorial Gardens.

The bus will pick up from Strathalbyn Woolworths and the 3 GP clinics as directed by each client.

Bookings are essential. Starting from next Friday 13th April.

The cost is $10.00 for a two-way trip to Strathalbyn and back.

If you are a client of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and wish to utilise this service, please contact Sonya at Community Care on: 8537 0687.
