Who Is Eligible for Community Care Services?

 

  • People who are frail or at risk
  • Aged, who are unable to maintain the health and safety requirements of their home due to moderate or severe disabilities.
  • Younger people with disabilities.
  • Carers
  • The services are only available to residents of the Alexandrina Council Area.

 

People who have difficulties in performing activities of daily living due to a moderate to severe disability are eligible for HACC services.

Carers for these people can access services to support them in their caring role.

The Milang and Clayton Community Care Coordinator can assess people to find out if they are eligible to receive home or community-based support services.
