Both days include a diversity of ride experiences for children, families, wine tasters, art and history lovers and serious riders at very reasonable prices.

The first day, Saturday 14 November, consists of three scenic winery rides of 7kms, 10 kms and 50 kms, starting and finishing at The Institute at Langhorne Creek followed by refreshments and quality local jazz.

The second day, Sunday 15 November, kicks off at the Strathalbyn Memorial Park, exploring the beautiful Angas River, waving goodbye to the Steam Ranger or exploring the art and history of Strathalbyn. Then its back by lunchtime to see the famous Strathalbyn  Duck Races, market stalls, great music, and a taste of the region.   The longer ride takes in the breathtaking scenery of Macclesfield, Meadows and Ashbourne and over the ranges and back to Strathalbyn.

Both days will feature stimulating physical activities courtesy of be active and Life With Gusto, Go for 2 & 5 nutritious food workshops, and Evelyn Roth’s amazing Eco Maze.  If you stay overnight there’s a traditional bush dance being held at the Milang Institute with the Rocky River Bush Band.

Ride the Angas is being coordinated by The Life With Gusto Project, facilitated through the Milang Old School House Community Centre, in partnership with Strathalbyn Bicycle Users Group, be active, Alexandrina Council, Strathalbyn Rotary, the Langhorne Creek Winery Association and the communities of Langhorne Creek, Milang, Clayton Bay and Strathalbyn.
